Membership

Requirements for membership :



Enrollment in Midwestern State University's Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BSN) Prelicensure Program or in the Registered Nurse to BSN Program or graduate students enrolled in graduate programs in nursing.

Local membership fees of 10$ per semester.

 

How do I join?

Attend any meeting on the first wednesday of the month, Sign in on our new member sign up list and pay dues of 10$

For questions about constituent Local or Associate membership please contact any officer.

SNA membership includes:



  • Access to professional and community resources through established bonds and programs.

  • Networking opportunities with local organizations and hospitals.

  • Fellowship with peers in all levels of nursing education offered at Midwestern State University.

  • Various volunteer and philanthropic opportunities.

  • Exposure to professional nursing societies, speakers, professions, and graduate programs.

  • Earn Honors chords for graduation through excellence in membership. Learn more about this below.

  • Scholarship opportunities for leadership. 

Cord Requirements:

You must complete two semesters of:

  1. Attending two or more SNA meetings per semester

  2. Pay membership dues ($10 per semester)

  3. Earn 15 SNA service hours per semester

 

 

You may earn SNA service hours by participating in SNA events located on the events page.
